Director of Sir Peter Rigby Centre for Enterprise (Grade 9)

The University of Liverpool is seeking an innovative and strategic leader to become the Director of the Sir Peter Rigby Centre for Enterprise. This high-profile role offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive enterprise initiatives across the University, enhancing employability, and fostering entrepreneurship among students and staff.

The Director will collaborate with senior academic and professional services leaders, manage the Centre's operations, and build strong networks with internal and external partners to support innovative enterprise projects and high-quality, sector-leading enterprise support.

The successful candidate will possess substantial leadership experience in, or related to, higher education, a proven track record in enterprise or small business development, and exceptional strategic thinking and communication skills. These qualities will enable them to develop and implement a transformative enterprise strategy, effectively manage the Centre’s staff and resources, and foster a culture of excellence and inclusivity.

As a member of the Russell Group, the University of Liverpool is renowned for its research excellence and high-quality teaching. The Sir Peter Rigby Centre for Enterprise will contribute a pivotal role in this ecosystem, working closely with senior University leaders across all three Faculties, the Brett Centre for Entrepreneurship, and key professional services directorates.
