A unique opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Support Technician with great organisational skills to make a real contribution to the development of our future health care professionals. As a key member of this busy team, you will contribute to a comprehensive, student facing and efficient administrative team to support teaching and provide teaching resources for the Faculty of Health Medical and Dental Schools.
The role involves preparing rooms for teaching, ensuring resources are available and IT equipment is switched on. Full training on the IT syatem and wider role will be provided.
You will be expected to have good communication skills to engage well with academics, team members and students. Each day will be interesting and varied as you will deal with student queries, check stock levels and prepare registers.
We would like you to be adaptable, hardworking, able to prioritise work to meet deadlines as well as being physically able to move equipment.
This is a part-time position working 10 hours per week on Wednesday (12.00-17.00) and Friday (12.00-17.00) on a permanent basis based in the Portland Square Building on the main University Campus. Term-time and flexible working options will be considered.
