We are looking for a driven individual to join us as Innovation Programme Manager for the Glasgow City Innovation District (GCID), an exciting role designed to support the delivery of GCID’s ambitious growth plans and Glasgow's Innovation Economy.

FTE: 1 (35 hours/week)
Term: Fixed Term (12 months)

Welcome to the role of Innovation Programme Manager, a role that has been created to support the delivery of Glasgow City Innovation District’s Venture Studio, and is funded by Scottish Enterprise, Glasgow City Council and UKSPF/Levelling up funds.

Glasgow City Innovation District (GCID) is Scotland’s leading innovation ecosystem for entrepreneurship, innovation, collaboration, and deep tech. Anchored by the University of Strathclyde and centred on Glasgow’s thriving Merchant City, over £700m+ has been invested to date in the district. GCID is Glasgow’s front door to innovation and through Glasgow’s City Centre strategy, GCID is working to help secure investment and help drive innovation.

Accountable to the Director GCID, the role-holder will work within the Glasgow City Innovation District where they will support the growth and expansion of Glasgow’s Innovation Ecosystem through the delivery of a series of innovation accelerators as part of GCID’s Venture Studio. The post holder will become an integral part of the GCID team and will further expand existing collaborations with key innovation ecosystem stakeholders, including the likes of Scottish Enterprise and Tech Scaler.
