About us
UK in a Changing Europe is an academic think tank providing impartial, research-based analysis of the critical issues facing the UK. We are funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and hosted by King’s College London’s Policy Institute. Led by Professor Anand Menon, UKICE promotes quality, timely and accessible social science research. We provide a platform allowing academics across the UK and beyond to ensure their research reaches a wider audience. Our work explores the numerous domestic challenges confronting the UK, its evolving relationship with the European Union, and its place in the world.
About the role
A fantastic opportunity to join UK in a Changing Europe’s operations team for the final portion of this award-winning think tank’s current three-year grant, running until April 30th, 2025. With a general election on the horizon, this is an especially exciting period for UKICE.
The incoming Project Administrator will work directly with the UKICE Operations Manager to facilitate the smooth operational running of the unit. This will involve assisting with financial and procurement-related tasks, data management work, organising and minuting key meetings, and wider office management duties.
The successful candidate will therefore have good administration experience within a professional office environment. They will have a passion to enter the world of politics and public policy. They will boast clear communication skills (written and verbal), a strong work ethic and an ability to handle financial/numerical data with accuracy and precision.
This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 30th April 2025.
