About Us
The King’s Health Partners (KHP) Centre for Translational Medicine is a new strategic initiative to enhance translational research capabilities across the partnership, support innovation and accelerate better, more equitable outcomes for patients and communities served by KHP and beyond.
The Centre provides underpinning support to deliver early phase translational research, linking across other infrastructure (including the South London and Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre) to ensure translation into clinical practice for the benefit of patients and communities. It builds capacity in translational medicine through investing in underpinning research support posts, clinical academic fellowship schemes, and via seed funding to pump prime innovative new areas of research.
About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced operations officer to join the core team of the KHP Centre for Translational Medicine based the Guy’s campus, supporting the efficient day to day running of the CTM. The KHP Centre for Translational Medicine is a new strategic initiative, it is an exciting and dynamic place to work and this role will be reflective of that.
You will report to the Centre manager but will work closely with the PPIE and training coordinators, as well as other stakeholders across the partnership. This will include the Director, academic researchers, clinicians and other allied healthcare professionals and professional services colleagues across KHP organisations including the Trusts R&D Offices creating a varied and exciting role.
You will prepare and support meetings, including minute taking. Be the first points of contact for our stakeholders and support the dissemination of information across the CTM network.
There will be the chance to be involved with the support of PPIE activities, capacity development and communications across the Centre’s work.
This post will be based at offices at the Guy’s campus with minimum of three days a week on site.
This is a full time post, and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 28th February 2027, hosted in the KCL Faculty Office’s Research team, but working equally with all the Centre partners to support the work of the centre.
This role can be held at 80% - 100% FTE.
