Our new Dean of School will have an influential role in making this happen. There are a number of exciting initiatives within Dentistry at Liverpool, which the new Dean will lead on. These include:
- Development of a new Dental Teaching Hospital and outreach dental clinics in partnership with our NHS partners
- Development of a sustainable and deliverable research strategy which leads to world leading dental research outputs and translational impact
- Expansion of home undergraduate student numbers to address the long-term NHS workforce plan
- Development of partnerships to increase our numbers of overseas undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Ensure the curricula evolve and adapt to reflect current knowledge and practice
