About the role
An exciting new post is available within the King’s Global Health Institute (KGHI) as an Operations Assistant.
The Operations Assistant will play a key role in providing administrative support to the Kings Global Health Institute. They will provide PA support to the Director of the King’s Global Health Institute and work closely with the Global Health Manager, assisting with events. In addition, they will work closely with the School HR & Finance and Research Teams, to ensure activities relating to financial processes and research grant management are fully supported.
You will interact with a wide range of people, including senior-level personnel from a variety of academic organisations. As such, the post requires someone with exceptional organisational, prioritisation and communication skills and a flexible and adaptable manner. After the initial direction, the postholder should be able to work with minimum supervision. The post holder must be able to manage their own time and workload efficiently and effectively, have a proactive approach, have previous office experience, and excellent interpersonal, organisational, communication, and IT skills. They will be able to use their own initiative as well as work as part of a team, enjoy a challenge, and undertake a wide variety of tasks.
This is a hybrid role, requiring at least 1 day in the office per week, and other days working from home. The role will be based at two of KCL’s campuses in London - Guy’s campus and Denmark Hill.
This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
This is a part-time post (17.5 hours per week) with the option to spread your hours across the week or to group them together into 2.5 days.
