Leeds Trinity University has embarked on the development of a range of Nursing, Allied Health Professions and Life Sciences programmes to support local, regional, and national workforce demands. We have developed BSc (Hons.) Nursing programmes in Adult, Mental Health, and Learning Disabilities fields, which are approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. These commenced January 2024 and we are further growing the nursing portfolio. In addition, we will be launching the BSc (Hons.) Biomedical Science programme in September 2024 and are working with external partners to develop courses in the Allied Health Professions.
This is an exciting time for Leeds Trinity University, and we are looking for an innovative and experienced individual to lead the growing School of Health and Life Sciences.
The university has made significant investment in the specialist estate and equipment for the health and life sciences programmes, and we have added to our well-equipped sport therapy and exercise science laboratories, by creating a bespoke health building, with a technology-enabled community flat and clinical skills spaces and a well-equipped Biomedical Science laboratory. The estate will continue to grow, and you will be lead on the shaping of it.
We are looking for an experienced academic leader in an area relevant to the school, who is registered with a relevant PSRB. You will have substantial experience of leading on the implementation of university strategic objectives in relation to student experience and outcomes; research and knowledge exchange; financial management; and staff experience and wellbeing. You will have a track record of working with senior external partners from health and life sciences and co-creating contemporary portfolio with them. If you are interested in growing a new school, creating innovative portfolio, working with senior regional health leaders and leading on creating exceptional student experience and outcomes, then we would love to hear you.
