We are now recruiting to the exciting role of Director of Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment. You will lead activity focussed around achieving the University’s home recruitment targets, overseeing the team that supports colleagues across the University in targeting recruitment activity effectively and efficiently. The postholder is the guardian of the University’s corporate image working closely with the Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor to ensure all our activity is undertaken in line with our strategic aims and values.
You will be leading a directorate that includes media relations, internal communications, social media activity, the website, publications, campaigns, digital marketing, the CRM team and student recruitment, including Schools and Colleges Liaison and the home student admissions team. You will set the strategic direction for the central team and support colleagues to deliver this. You will also provide guidance to senior colleagues who are responsible for other directorates in the University around communications; and coordinating corporate communications. Key to success will be the ability to work in agile and flexible way as a key part of the University executive team.
