The Department of Informatics is looking to recruit a full-time Senior Programme Officer to support the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught Programmes. This role would suit an experienced administrator ready for the next stage in their career.
The Senior Programme Officer provides essential support to students and academics, working as part of the programmes team to ensure that high quality administrative and student support is provided from enrolment to graduation. Having line management responsibilities for Programme Officers, the role holder is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of programme administration of several courses and ensuring tasks are carried out to a high level of accuracy.
About the roleThe role includes resolving complex queries and issues and will specifically focus on completing assessment-related activities such as assessment planning and overseeing the management of misconduct and mitigating circumstances processes during the teaching and assessment life cycle. The role will involve a varied workload to support colleagues during busy periods, which will provide opportunities to further develop your knowledge of regulations and contribute to professional networks promoting best practice.

This is currently a hybrid role, and the role holder will spend part of their working week on campus and part of the week working remotely. On campus days are allocated via a rota and requirements may differ at busy times of year.
This is a full time (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
