We are pleased to announce an important opportunity for a Deputy Data Returns Manager to join the highly regarded Planning and Business Intelligence service at the University of Huddersfield. This role will serve a key function in the management and processing of substantial quantities of student data, contributing to the accurate preparation and submission of returns to statutory regulators such as the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and the Department for Education (DfE).
This pivotal role arises at a transformative time as we build on our successful HESA's Data Futures programme. It's a chance for you to be part of revolutionising how we generate, process, and analyse our student data, helping to both meet our regulatory responsibilities and provide a foundation for the strategic use of data across the University.
Responsibilities include close collaboration with the Data Returns Manager and a variety of stakeholders, interpreting data and ensuring its accuracy, and guiding the development of data quality processes. Furthermore, the Deputy Data Returns Manager will serve as a key liaison point for other data owners, offering guidance on data returns and funding body policies and procedures.
We invite you to join us in shaping a data-driven future at the University of Huddersfield. Your skills, commitment to quality, and dedication to excellent customer service will be integral to enhancing our student experience and advancing our institutional success.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging. We strive to be an accessible, inclusive employer, removing barriers for all. Find out more about our approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including our commitments and accreditations as a Disability Confident Employer, Stonewall Top 100 Employer, Athena SWAN Bronze Award holder and Race Equality Charter Bronze Award holder.
