An exciting opportunity for a surveyor to join our expanding and versatile Land Management team at the University of Reading. Collaboratively working with others to bring forward development that includes a Country Park and new Garden Village incorporating the best principles of sustainability underpinned by the University’s long-term management and care for the environment. We aim to create a community that provides choice for its residents in terms of options for living, working, socialising as well as for education and leisure. 

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and equally happy to spend time out in the open air, or behind a desk producing detailed reports and analysis of competing land interests to ensure that the estate is used to support the achievement of the University’s strategic priorities and organisational objectives.
You will have:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience of planning and development projects.
  • A willingness to support other staff in the team.
  • The ability to summarise key information and work independently to tight deadlines.
  • A drive and commitment to developing your surveying career.
