We offer state of the art facilities, including two mock courtrooms, modern Harvard lecture theatres and teaching spaces, a Legal Resource Room, and a dedicated Business and Law Clinic, where our law students undertake a range of pro bono work, supervised by solicitors or barristers.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Programme Leader for our growing Solicitors Training Course who, working with an experienced team of professional law colleagues, will manage and develop the programme which provides educational training for aspiring solicitors of the future. In addition to managing and teaching on the Solicitors Training Course, the Programme Leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of learning, teaching and assessment on the course, upholding the integrity of the course and aligning it with the Law School’s strategic objectives.

About you: 
We are seeking to recruit an innovative, inclusive and collaborative individual for this role. This role is a permeant appointment as a Senior Lecturer and the candidate must have current or previous experience of practice as a solicitor. The candidate must demonstrate leadership capabilities, organisational and planning skills and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. A commitment to a student-centred approach and maintaining high ethical standards is crucial. In addition, the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage challenging and demanding situations is important.

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week.
