We are excited to announce an opening for a Demonstrator in Natural Sciences at Birkbeck, a renowned institution in the heart of Central London.
As part of the Faculty of Science, School of Natural Sciences, this role offers an excellent opportunity to support the teaching team in delivering biological labs on both Postgraduate and Undergraduate programmes.

We are looking for a number of Demonstrators to support various modules in; laboratory skills in biochemistry, evolution and genetics, sequence analysis and omics, biocomputing, practical skills for the biosciences, molecular biology, molecular biology for discovery life sciences, and a specialist laboratory research project.

Remuneration
Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service (starting rate £23.39 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked. This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 6. Marking is paid separately for these roles.
Terms and Conditions
