Following the award of funds from the National Institute for Health and Social Care Research, Lancaster Medical School are looking for an experienced project manager. You will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of the £850k project looking to develop new infrastructures for supporting decision making for radiotherapy for gynaecological cancer. This will include monitoring project progress, planning and scheduling project activities and resources, producing reports and liaising with various key stakeholders and governance bodies.

The role will support the joint lead applicants based at Lancaster and Bangor Universities but will be based at Lancaster University in the Faculty of Health and Medicine. They will have line management responsibility for a project administrator (0.4FTE) and work closely with other members of the research team including three researchers and co-investigators from project partners, including The Christie Hospital, Radiotherapy UK, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and South Tees Hospital.

You will have evidence of managing multidisciplinary projects involving internal and external partners and a strong attention to detail.
