The Faculty of Science and Technology is seeking to recruit a full-time Student Programmes Officer. The post will be based in Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC) and will lead and manage a team of student-facing professional services staff. The Student Programmes Officer works closely with academic colleagues in the department and engages with colleagues from across the faculty and wider university to support the delivery and administration of student programmes and modules, and the student experience for both undergraduate and postgraduate taught students and postgraduate research students. The team comprises six administrators and is part of a wider Education Services Team, led by the Faculty’s Education Services Manager.
You will be based in Lancaster Environment Centre but would be expected to work within other academic departments of the faculty as required.

LEC is a large department with over 800 students across undergraduate, taught postgraduate, and postgraduate research programmes, over 80 academic staff, 50 research staff and over 50 professional services staff (administration, business-facing and technical). LEC’s teaching and research focus on the environment, spanning across social and natural sciences.
