The opportunity
Opportunity to use your experience of Higher Education (HE) funding administration and SITS to play a key role in the management and set up of student prizes and scholarship applications across University of the Arts London (UAL).
UAL offers a variety of student prizes and awards, including bursaries, scholarships, and specific awards for academic excellence, sustainability, and industry collaboration. These awards can range from scholarships and financial prizes to mentoring opportunities and career development support.
As Fund Manager - System Administrator, you will lead the process for the setup of scholarship applications and the distribution of prize funds. This will include:
You will ensure that departments managing funds prizes have complete and accurate data on the distribution of funds to students for management and decision-making purposes.
You will need to liaise with colleges, research departments and other central departments across UAL to ensure the distribution of funds for prizes are well planned and organised and to set realistic expectations on the lead times for the distribution of funds to students.
About You
Familiarity and experience of Higher Education (HE) funding administration is essential, as is experience of setting up funds using the fund manager tool in SITS.
You will also need experience of setting up student or other record systems, in addition to excellent numeracy skills.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of your work is equally important.
