About the role
The Department of Social Policy and Intervention is seeking a Research Support Assistant to join Dr Bridget Steele’s Oxford Understanding Relationships Sex Power Abuse and Consent Experiences (OUR SPACE) Study. You will contribute to the day-to-day administration of a research project focused on preventing sexual misconduct in UK higher education institutions.
The Research Support Assistant will provide general research management support and play a key role in assisting Dr Bridget Steele in generating research outputs related to students’ experiences with and perspectives on sexual misconduct and supporting grant writing. You will report directly to Dr Steele, the principal investigator of the OUR SPACE study.
About you
You will have a first degree (or currently be enrolled in a master’s programme) in a relevant field, as well as experience with mixed-methods research. You will possess strong academic writing, presentational, and critical thinking skills. It is desirable for you to have a demonstrated commitment to working on issues related to gender-based violence. A good communicator, you will be well organised, able to meet deadlines and willing to work both independently and as part of a team.
