The RCM has a distinguished tradition of Vocal & Opera teaching, and alumni are found internationally throughout the profession. The large Vocal & Opera faculty attracts students and professors from around the world, and is central to the learning, teaching and musical life of the College.
We are seeking an outstanding musician to lead the Vocal & Opera faculty, providing strategic leadership and vision for the faculty, professors and students, in its teaching, performing, support, assessment and recruitment. Applications are encouraged from candidates who can demonstrate significant experience of vocal training, have a detailed knowledge of vocal and operatic repertoire, and have a strong understanding of the conservatoire environment.
This post is offered on a permanent, full-time basis and is available from September 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
