Are you passionate about clinical education and skills training? We are seeking a Clinical Teaching Fellow to join our medical education team in a joint clinical academic role. This part-time position (2 days per week) offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the teaching, assessment, and professional development of healthcare students through problem-based and team-based learning, while maintaining your clinical practice.
You will be responsible for facilitating small-group learning, delivering clinical and communication skills workshops, supporting assessments, and mentoring students. You will contribute to the development of evidence-based teaching materials while engaging with quality assurance and curriculum enhancement.
This role also provides the opportunity to further develop your expertise in medical education, with support available to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education (PGCert), Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), or Academy of Medical Educators (AoME) membership/accreditation if desired.
