Job Description

The University of Khorfakkan (UKF) is seeking a faculty member in the field of Industrial Management at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic and research background in Industrial Management, with the ability to teach courses such as Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, Production Planning and Control, Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Safety and Risk Management, and other related subjects. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to academic research by publishing high-quality studies in internationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals, as well as developing innovative curricula that integrate technological advancements in Industrial Management. UKF encourages faculty to incorporate real-world industry applications into their teaching, ensuring students gain practical insights alongside theoretical knowledge. English is the language of instruction and communication at UKF.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Industrial Management courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, integrating industry case studies and best practices.
• Conduct high-quality research and publish in internationally ranked, peer-reviewed journals.
• Supervise student research, graduation projects, as well as master’s and doctoral theses.
• Develop and update curricula to align with emerging trends in the field of Industrial Management.
• Participate in academic accreditation processes and ensure that courses meet international standards.
• Lead advanced research and technical projects in Industrial Management, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Promote communication and partnerships with industry leaders, professional institutions, and research organizations.
• Participate in international conferences, workshops, and scientific events to represent UKF’s academic contributions. 

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

• A PhD in Industrial Management or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of three years of teaching experience at the university level, demonstrating strong pedagogical skills.
• A proven research record with publications in internationally ranked, peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience in supervising graduation projects, master’s research, and doctoral theses.
• Ability to develop interactive and engaging curricula using modern technologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, SEO, and the application of artificial intelligence in teaching.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and blended learning environments, with a preference for candidates with online education experience.
• Strong understanding of accreditation standards, curriculum design, and academic quality assurance.
• Industry experience or professional certifications in Industrial Management or related fields are advantageous.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative academic environment.
