This post is full time, and has funding for up to 2 years.
The James Watt School of Engineering is looking for a Research Assistant to contribute to a project Hydrogen-BECCUS (Bioenergy with Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage) working with Professor Manosh C Paul in collaboration with Partners as part of the UKRI Supergen Bioenergy Impact Hub. The project involves both modelling (detailed thermochemical and CFD to process integration) and experiment of a pyrolysis-gasification system aiming to produce hydrogen-enrich biosyngas. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
