About us
Student Operations is responsible for the student record - its management and quality - as well as the principal functions supporting the student lifecycle (e.g. exams, timetabling, curriculum information). The directorate is also responsible for student statutory reporting to external stakeholders (e.g. HESA, OfS, GMC). There is a close working relationship between Student Operations and SRS Education Services, as well as with the Office of the Vice-Provost (Education & Student Experience). The Curriculum Information Management Services team is success-oriented and enthusiastic in its approach to dealing with high volumes of queries whilst delivering an excellent service.
About the role
The Curriculum Information Management Service is a recently formed team within UCL’s student administration. The team is responsible for managing all curriculum data within the student records system, and within our dedicated curriculum management software, currently being implemented.
As Curriculum Information Manager, you will oversee and enhance curriculum processes, ensuring alignment with UCL’s academic regulations and data policies. Collaborating with colleagues across faculties and departments, you’ll provide training, guidance, and support to system users while managing a team of Senior Curriculum Information Officers.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate programme and module records, developing and refining processes, and ensuring compliance with institutional standards. You will manage support and training, ensuring consistency and excellence in record-keeping. Additionally, you’ll work closely with technical teams and external suppliers to develop and support UCL’s academic model.

About you
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of working in an administrative support role in a busy university environment, with excellent knowledge of the SITS system or other equivalent student records system. They will have demonstrable knowledge of curriculum data and the curriculum lifecycle, and a good understanding of downstream dependencies. They will also have an understanding of the quality assurance processes that govern the curriculum.
They will have experience in managing others, both directly and indirectly, and in influencing others to achieve common targets.
They will have excellent interpersonal skills in both written and oral communications, with an ability to prepare reports and plans and present these to variable audiences, including the ability to convey complex information to audiences with varying concerns and levels of understanding.
