LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university

Salary from £36,008 to £40,991 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £43,854 pa inclusive of London allowance

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is a world-leading university, which has for 130 years helped society to understand the most important global problems and how to solve them. LSE was named ‘University of the Year 2025’ by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, which also ranked it the UK’s top university.

Led by our new President and Vice Chancellor, Professor Larry Kramer, LSE’s ambition is to use its convening power to bring the world together, developing and disseminating solutions for the betterment of society to five vital modern challenges: democracy, political economy, sustainability, inequalities, and new technologies.

The Philanthropy and Global Engagement Division (PAGE) serves, engages and works in partnership with alumni and friends, staff and students, volunteers, donors, global partners, organisations and the wider community in order to increase engagement with LSE across the world and, by doing so, to increase philanthropic income and strategic partnerships for the university’s priorities.

We are seeking two proactive and highly organised individuals to take on two newly created roles of Administrative Support Officer within PAGE’s Development directorate. Integral to the smooth-running of the PAGE Leadership Team, one post-holder will provide support to the Director of Development, alongside the three heads of teams they oversee; and one post-holder will provide support to the Director of Leadership Philanthropy, alongside their team of five associate directors.

What we ask of you:

  •  Experience of delivering comprehensive administrative support, including excellent IT and communication skills.
  •  Aptitude for working effectively in a large, complex organisation with the ability to build good internal relationships; demonstrate sound judgement, individual initiative and attention to detail; flexibly manage competing priorities; and work seamlessly as part of a wider team.

What you can expect from us:

  • The opportunity to work within a professional and supportive division at a university in the heart of London with an exceptional global brand as it delivers its largest ever fundraising campaign.
  • We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, flexible hours, and excellent training and development opportunities.
