We are seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Inorganic Materials Synthesis to work in a multidisciplinary Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council Programme Grant team to discover new materials for Next Generation Photovoltaics. You should have a PhD in Chemistry, Physics or Materials Science, a strong publication track record and a demonstrated commitment to excellence. Exceptional skills in solid-state or solution non-oxide inorganic materials synthesis and design are essential. Expertise in advanced structural characterisation and/or property measurement is desirable. The post is available for up to 24 months.
If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
This role is eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route.
