Leeds Business School (LBS) at Leeds Beckett University is seeking an exceptional academic to join us as Professor of Strategy and Knowledge Exchange. This is a strategic post that will support LBS’s ambition to be recognised for outstanding civic engagement, impactful research, and innovative teaching linked to real-world challenges. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead applied research, enhance our regional partnerships, and drive knowledge exchange and impact initiatives that support small businesses and contribute to economic and social development.
LBS brings together a dynamic portfolio of disciplines including Accounting and Finance, Business Strategy, Economics, HRM, Marketing, and Journalism, in the heart of one of the UK’s most enterprising cities. Candidates should be outstanding academics with a demonstrable record of internationally recognised outputs, high-quality teaching, and experience in leadership roles. They should hold a doctoral degree and bring a multidisciplinary background that enables them to drive innovative programme development and training at the intersection of Business, Science and Technology. A keen understanding of the policy landscape, industry trends, and funding opportunities is essential. An understanding of quality assurance would also be desirable.
The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to the vibrant research culture and knowledge exchange activities across the School.
