We are delighted to have been awarded Scottish University of the Year by the Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024, demonstrating that we are not only one of the best universities in the United Kingdom, but one of the best universities for the world. Our people have always been at the forefront of innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers.
An exciting opportunity is available at the University of Glasgow for three talented Academic Policy Managers to join Academic Policy & Governance (APG) within Student & Academic Services. This role will provide professional support in academic quality management and enhancement activities across the University's Academic Quality Framework.
The role will provide specialist advice and coordination for the effective implementation of quality assurance and enhancement processes across all Colleges and Schools. You will lead on the development and operational management of activities within the Academic Standards & Quality team, including areas such as Student Feedback and Representation, Annual Quality & Enhancement Review, and External Examining.
In joining APG, you will become part of a professional support network dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the University's high quality of learning and teaching provision. Our team is collaborative and proactive, committed to supporting the University's strategic objectives through policy development, quality assurance & enhancement, and effective governance.
This role will be based at the University of Glasgow's main campus, and will involve engagement across the institution. Through collaboration with College colleagues, you will lead in the development and adoption of policies relating to University quality assurance systems and processes, ensuring alignment with sector standards. We are committed to flexible working and open to applications from candidates seeking arrangements such as hybrid working, flexible hours or part-time options, while meeting the needs of the role.
