Programme Events & logistics Manager, part of the programme team of a new Wellcome-funded Leadership Development Programme for senior research leaders, supporting all organisational aspects of the programme and playing a pivotal role in participant communications and the delivery of programme events.
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity to be part of a high impact programme team, serving the needs of researchers across the whole University. Funded by Wellcome, this role will play a pivotal part in forming a new programme team which will deliver an innovative and researcher-driven leadership development programme. The individual will have the opportunity to establish innovative ways of working and shape an outstanding participant experience.
Our vision for leadership development at Oxford is to develop research leaders who can co-create environments in which people and research can flourish, to improve research culture and drive creativity. The programme team will develop an institution-wide leadership programme that is tailored to the situations and barriers encountered by researchers.
About You
You will be a fast learner who is highly organised and able to cope with change and to think creatively to solve challenges.
You will have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable with arranging complex events and coordinating all event arrangements.
You will be an excellent communicator and enjoy forming relationships with a range of stakeholders and suppliers.
You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced and complex environments and understand the challenges and opportunities facing researchers in higher education.
