The School of Medicine is looking to recruit a dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable senior coordinator to join our undergraduate assessments team in the Medical Education Centre Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham.
The School has in region of 2500 undergraduate students with 2200 of these on medical courses across 3 sites – Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln.
The successful candidate will work within a large team and lead on providing an effective and efficient assessments provision for the graduate entry programme.
You will plan and organise the preparation of assessment tasks, which will include: knowledge-based exams; clinical examination and portfolio submission. You will lead on the recruitment of external examiners for your years of the programme, manage the preparation of results and run the administrative aspects of exam boards.
You will need to have excellent communication and IT skills, be organised, proactive, hardworking, flexible and enjoy working in a busy environment with a relevant degree/professional qualification or a proven track record of relevant work experience in a similar field.
This post is based at the Education Centre at the Queen’s Medical Centre at Nottingham. All team members are expected travel to other hospital sites in the East Midlands for exam delivery day as part of the role.
We will provide full training on all aspects of assessment administration for the successful candidates.
The post is offered on a permanent contract. Working hours are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, job share arrangements may be considered.
