An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Researcher to join the Chakraverty research program.
The Clinical Researcher will support translational research in ATMPs (advanced therapeutic medicinal products) and is open to applications from clinical trainees with previous relevant clinical and research experience in cellular therapies at level of a PhD.
The post will suit an enthusiastic, highly motivated clinician working in the field of haematology who is planning a future career as a haematologist, with an interest in advanced cellular therapeutics. The postholder will help conduct laboratory-based research analyses of chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapies. The research will be conducted in the Chakraverty Laboratory at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine.
Applicants should hold a medical degree (MB ChB or equivalent) and significant clinical and/or research experience at the level of a PhD. Previous experience in a research laboratory environment is essential.
The post is fixed-term until 30 April 2026, funded by Jon Moulton & National Institute for Health and Care Research.
