About the School
The School of Health and Social Care has an excellent reputation for teaching and research. Our academic members of staff include occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychological therapists, nurses, social workers, oral health practitioners and sociologists. The School is run over two campuses; Southend and Colchester.
We work closely with health and care stakeholders to deliver excellence in education and collaborative research with an aim to improve health and care delivery on a regional, national and international level.
The purpose of this fixed term role is to play an active role in supporting the Nursing team at our Southend Campus. You will complement an existing team in the delivery of innovative undergraduate nursing education in Southend. This post will also contribute to the running of our nursing programmes as well as providing support to students in clinical practice.

These posts will be fixed-term until 31 July 2025.
Qualifications and Skills required
The successful candidates will hold a Master level degree in a health-related subject, Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and registration as a Nurse with the NMC.
You will have the ability and willingness to complement and continuously enhance the department/school’s education strengths and areas of planned development, as well as engaging n knowledge exchange and outreach activities and a willingness to mentor colleagues to do the same. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
