This part-time (0.8 FTE) role is available from 5th May 2025 on a fixed-term basis until 4th May 2026 to cover for maternity leave.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working- some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
We are looking for enthusiastic staff who can contribute to our vision for Wellbeing Services and provide a range of low intensity interventions for our diverse student community. We are seeking a qualified and IAPT-experienced Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner who would be interested in developing services and providing bespoke provision for students. You will be a skilled practitioner who has a thoughtful and adaptable approach to your work, as well as a real interest in managing complex difficulties and sensitively supporting students. You will also be committed to the advancement of stepped care services in a multidisciplinary team of staff. A DBS check will need to be completed.
Health and wellbeing are crucial ingredients of effective study and play a key role in helping students enjoy a rich and fulfilling student experience. Our Wellbeing Centre provides a base where we aim to help students with emotional and mental health difficulties succeed in their studies and make the most of the opportunities offered by a new and diverse learning environment.
