About the Role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated postdoctoral fellow to join Dr Sharma’s Mechanistic T Cell Genomics group. Dr Sharma will establish her group in May 2025 at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Oxford, supported by a Wellcome Trust Career Development Award. The candidate will be the computational lead on a project focusing on understanding signalling via inhibitory receptors in T cells and will lead the computational analysis of high-dimensional omics datasets, including single-cell transcriptomics, ATAC-seq, multi-dimensional flow cytometry, and perform network-based analysis for signalling studies.
 
The post is funded via the Wellcome Trust and is available as a fixed-term contract for 18 months, with a possibility to extend. About You 
 
It is essential to hold a PhD degree, or equivalent, in biological sciences, molecular biology, immunology, genetics, or similar subject. Experience of, and proven research skills in computational biology and strong interest in signalling pathway analysis is required.
