Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Postdoctoral Researcher with experience in blood cancer research?
The Oxford Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research has an exciting chance for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the groups of Professors Xin Lu and Stefan Constantinescu. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead cutting-edge projects at the intersection of leukaemia progression and treatment, oncogenic effects of p53 mutants, on leveraging activation of non-mutated p53 or re-activation of p53 mutants in cancer.

You will operate laboratory equipment used for all aspects of cell/molecular biology/biochemistry, and interpret results and present them to senior members of the groups. Other duties will include performing original research using biochemical assays, supervising and training junior staff in advanced genomics, and managing your own academic research and administrative activities.
It is essential that you hold a PhD/DPhil (or close to completion) in in molecular biology, biochemistry, cancer research, or a related life science field, and have a background in signalling, molecular haematology, molecular biology. You will have experience working with in vivo/in vitro experimental models, and a working knowledge of the p53 pathway. It is also essential you are able to organise and prioritise work efficiently whilst delivering results to the required standard and to an agreed schedule.
