The Role
Your research and teaching will focus on political geography and will complement and extend our existing research and teaching strengths in political geographies at Newcastle University. Your research will be recognised internationally within your field, and you will be an excellent teacher at undergraduate and taught postgraduate levels in Geography. We welcome applicants whose work advances one or more of the following areas: conflict and displacement; civil-military relations; identity and nationalism; geographies of peace; geographies of security; borders and boundaries.
This position is fixed-term for 1 year (12 months) only and has been created following the award of a 1 year Independent Social Research Foundation Mid Career Fellowship to Professor Nick Megoran in Geography, School of GPS.
