The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the expanding Research Governance, Compliance & Risk team. Situated in the Research Security and Compliance area of the team, the post holder provides support for the University’s compliance with current export control, sanctions and national security legislation and regulation (particularly in relation to UK export control regulations and the UK government’s Trusted Research agenda, but also to applicable international legislation and regulations, such as the US Export Administration Regulations and International Traffic in Arms Regulations) to University researchers and professional services staff.
You will work closely alongside other members of the team and colleagues from across the Edinburgh Research Office, as well as other professional service and academic colleagues in Colleges and Schools.
