About the role
The Research Assistant will support a project assessing the use of non-cigarette tobacco products (e.g., cigars, shisha). They will play a key role in conducting a quantitative analysis of trends in youth use of non-cigarette tobacco products over time and in different countries.
This will be a desk-based role, analysing multi-country, multi-wave data that has already been collected as part of the International Tobacco Control Policy Evaluation Project (ITC Project). The post holder will be expected to contribute to the write-up of findings as well as research publications and, where required, funder report(s).
You will support the Principal Investigator and the Department of Primary Care and Public Health and collaborate with colleagues at University College London and the University of Waterloo (Canada).
