The role
The Faculty of Engineering’s Technical Services seeks an enthusiastic and practically-minded person to join our laboratory support team. Based in the Digital Manufacturing and Bristol Interactive Group laboratories, you will be responsible for taking novel concepts provided by research partners and using your rapid prototyping experience to create functional solutions. You will also be tasked with providing training to students and academic staff and undertaking day-to-day laboratory support activities.
Experience in rapid prototyping (3D printing, laser cutting, circuit board design) would be advantageous, but full training will be given so it’s more important to have a genuine interest in the subject and an understanding of the core concepts.
