Research Assistant

Part-time: 28 hours per week

Fixed-term: until 31^st March 2027 (appointment above step 3 of grade may necessitate a reduction of contract length)

The opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Research Assistant to join our team for the PINPOINT-Impact study. This exciting role involves coordinating and supporting a UK-wide research project aimed at understanding fatigue in paediatric IBD patients. You will work closely with participants, manage data collection, and assist with both qualitative and quantitative research activities.

This post is part-time (80% full-time equivalent) for a fixed term of 24 months. We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

Your skills and attributes for success: 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., health sciences, psychology, social sciences).
• Experience in coordinating research studies or projects.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in data management and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
