We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our dynamic and collaborative neuroscience lab, specializing in ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) research. Our lab utilises induced pluripotent stem cell-derived motor neurons (iPS-MN) to functionally validate genetic drivers of ALS.
As a Research Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting PhD students and Postdocs with experiments and contributing to the maintenance and characterization of iPSC-derived neuronal models. Your responsibilities will include assisting in daily lab operations, managing cell cultures, and performing essential techniques such as immunofluorescence, Western blotting, and qPCR. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful research, co-author publications, and attend conferences. You will be an integral part of a productive team at the forefront of ALS research, collaborating in a stimulating, supportive, and world-leading research environment.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
