The role
This part-time, 12 month position is a fixed term contract to work on the Times of a Just Transition Programme, funded by the British Academy as part of its Global Convening Programme. The Times of a Just Transition brings together scholars from six continents and 14 disciplines to transform our understanding of the role of time and timing in producing justice and injustice in sustainability transitions. This piece of work supports Professor Facer’s personal project on temporal pedagogies and will be of interest to design and arts oriented researchers with expertise in the intersection between time, pedagogy and imaginative practice.
What will you be doing?
The Senior Research Associate (SRA) will work with the Programme lead, Professor Keri Facer in relation to two activities: the development of a book on the Shapes of Time and the writing up and analysis of a programme of workshops and data collection activities on time and water transitions. There will be opportunity for the SRA to pursue their own interests in relation to the project’s work and to develop professionally, including with support from Professor Facer
