Advancement Communications is a professional, innovative and friendly team within the Development and Alumni Relations office at Cambridge University, focused on putting philanthropy at the heart of Cambridge and cultivating relationships with our alumni. The team looks after 2 websites, several social media channels, creates written communications and marketing materials for a huge number of different audiences, produces multiple newsletters and so much more besides. It's a busy team that has a piece of the puzzle missing - a Communications Assistant.
The ideal candidate will be interested in potentially having a career in the world of marketing and communications. You do not need to have experience in website editing, social media content creation or writing newsletters, but you will need to have openness to learning. This role is based in central Cambridge. We practice a hybrid working model, requiring the selected person to be present in the office for a minimum of two days weekly.
