We are recruiting a temporary Communications & Marketing Manager for parental leave cover who can implement communications strategies in line with the key communications objectives and messages of the NIHR BioResource. You will need experience of a broad range of communications disciplines as well as excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills succeed in this role.

About the job:
The role holder will have the responsibility to deliver strategic communications to support and promote the NIHR BioResource.
You will implement an effective multi-channel communications strategy on behalf of the NIHR BioResource in order to raise the profile and impact on research activity to diverse audiences and stakeholders. You will also ensure high quality marketing, communications and reporting of key information to public-facing areas of the NIHR BioResource, and take responsibility for introducing, adapting and improving communications systems regarding the NIHR BioResource's services, aims and goals.
The role manages the Communications Team, consisting of 2 Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Senior Coordinators and 3 Communications Coordinators.

The post is available on a fixed-term basis for nine months or the return of the postholder, whichever sooner, to provide cover during parental leave.
