Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Lecturer in Creative Writing to join our esteemed School of Creative Arts, Culture & Communication where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual future of our students.
As Lecturer in Creative Writing, you will contribute to a range of modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as bringing expertise in fiction, non-fiction and the publishing industry to the role.
Birkbeck's School of Creative Arts, Culture and Communication has an internationally-recognised research profile in Creative Writing and English Literature (2nd in REF 2021), and has nurtured numerous students on the path to becoming published authors, so you will be joining a supportive, dedicated and ambitious team.

Contract
Open-ended, permanent contract. Full-time, 35 hours per week including daytime attendance and delivering lectures in the evening 6-9pm. Salary and benefits
£43,636 rising to £60,018 per annum, Grade LLEC, quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
