The Roles
The Public Engagement team are seeking a Public Engagement Officer to deliver aspects of the School of Advanced Study’s public engagement programme. The role will have primary focus on supporting Being Human Festival, and will also provide support for the newly developed Centre for Public Engagement Practice in the Arts and Humanities and public engagement work across the School.
The post-holder will lead specific work programmes relating to aspects of the SAS public engagement strategy, and develop and deliver public engagement activities and training.
The post-holder will lead on key aspects of Being Human Festival communications, and will be required to develop and showcase best practice within SAS public engagement and Being Human Festival.
The post-holder will be required to work proactively and collaboratively, communicate with internal and external stakeholders and work on multiple workstreams simultaneously.
The post-holder will work closely with colleagues in the Public Engagement team and will work with researchers across the UK who are taking part in Being Human Festival.
