A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join this UKCRC-registered Centre as a Research Nurse managing and delivering a portfolio of clinical trials and research studies.
This position would suit a self-motivated individual with the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and liaise with multiple stakeholders across the NHS, academia and industry to see the successful delivery of commercial and non-commercial clinical studies within the clinical trials research arena. The post holder will be working on studies across primary and secondary care, which may include adults lacking capacity. Experience in clinical research including set up of clinical study protocols along with expert implementation and ongoing monitoring of protocol delivery is essential.
As a Research Nurse (grade 6), we are looking for someone currently registered with the NMC, educated to graduate level/ NVQ 4 or with equivalent professional experience. The successful candidate will be required to contribute to the management and delivery of studies within the Centre for Trials Research, including recently funded clinical trials in self-management interventions and in women's health. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of good clinical practice and regulatory aspects of clinical research and will be able to work flexibly within these confines to deliver research studies as required.
With a culture of continuous professional and career development the Centre has an excellent track record of helping people develop in their areas of interest, with many progressing within the Centre itself, the wider University or further afield.
