We’re looking for an HR Administrator to join a small professional team supporting the Faculty of Philosophy. You will be responsible for ensuring HR data is accurately gathered, managed and maintained for the full employee life-cycle, and, in particular, you will take the lead on ensuring that all employment and HR data for payroll is up-to-date and compliant with GDPR and University guidelines. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the faculty in a range of HR operational matters including Casuals, Academic Visitors and University Cards.
The ideal candidate will have solid administrative skills, and previous experience of handling data in a HR environment, with the ability to maintain data to the highest levels of accuracy. Intermediate IT skills (including Excel) are required, and you must be comfortable with both inputting data and interrogating systems to ensure all of our information interacts effectively. The ability to deal professionally with confidential matters and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage a busy workload are key aspects of the role.
This role is primarily office based for 22½ hours per week, and can be offered on either 3 full days per week, or 5 shorter days.
