Saïd Business School is seeking a committed and experienced Head of Alumni Engagement to join our high-performing Development and Alumni team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in deepening the connection between the School and its global alumni community while supporting our ambitious new five-year strategy.
The Head of Alumni Engagement will support the Associate Director of Alumni and Supporter Engagement in fostering lifelong relationships with the School's extensive alumni network. This includes overseeing alumni volunteering, events, communications and initiatives to increase alumni participation and giving.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of alumni engagement professionals, setting clear objectives and ensuring high performance.
- Manage and enhance the global alumni volunteer programme, incentivising engagement and giving back.
- Oversee a robust calendar of international alumni events, hybrid engagements and digital communication strategies.
- Implement strategies to ensure students develop lifelong connections with the School from matriculation through to their alumni journey.
- Manage budgets, assess event pricing and secure sponsorship to maximise ROI.
You will have professional experience in alumni relations or managing membership communities, with exceptional communication, organisational and leadership skills. You must demonstrate the ability to engage senior stakeholders, manage volunteers and oversee complex budgets. A strong track record in delivering high-profile events, evaluating engagement strategies and working collaboratively across teams is essential.
