LSE’s Philanthropy and Global Engagement (PAGE) division engages with alumni, supporters and friends, volunteers, organisations and the wider community to support their lifelong relationship with LSE, to further the strategic aims of the School and to increase philanthropic income for agreed School priorities. Within PAGE, the Supporter Relations Team coordinates, plans and delivers a portfolio of activities which enhance the relationship between LSE and its supporters.

The Events Officer is responsible for planning, delivering, facilitating and promoting events to engage and steward donors, alumni, partners and friends of LSE, to meet key objectives and outcomes. The Events Officer will work closely with colleagues in PAGE and across the School to maximise opportunities to engage with supporters and alumni through wider School events.

Candidates should have:

  • Experience of project managing and delivering a range of events that meet agreed objectives
  • Excellent organisational skills with evidence of strong project management and planning skills
  • A collaborative approach to work, and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers in order to meet objectives
  • Experience of developing events to support an engagement strategy and an understanding of the role events play in a fundraising/engagement pipeline
