About the role
The post holder will design and deliver a strategic plan to meet our student recruitment targets for the portfolio of UG and PGT programmes within UCL School of Management. This is key to the financial viability of the School of Management and its presence in Canary Wharf.
They will be responsible, along with the Director of Communications and Marketing, for leading the critical function of student recruitment for both UG and PGT through, for example, open days, taster and introduction events, digital advertising and marketing, provision of appropriate UCL School of Management content and other assets and collateral such as photography and videography.
They will also be responsible for establishing the guidelines, principles, and practices that weave the School of Management into all the touchpoints and activities across the prospective student journey.

About you
The successful candidate will have experience in designing and delivering effective engagement programmes and events, with a strong track record in implementing successful marketing and recruitment strategies within complex institutions. Their in-depth knowledge of Higher Education policy and the evolving role of universities will enable them to navigate sector developments and contribute to informed decision-making.
A strong understanding of the rapidly evolving digital landscape is essential, including the interplay between SEO, paid activity, content, and social media in the context of student recruitment and events. Educated to a degree level (or with significant relevant experience in Higher Education or a similar environment), they will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to a range of internal and external stakeholders, adapting their approach to suit different audiences.
